ABOUT KATIE, Founder of Free Spirit Girl
Katie is a free spirit who loves life and exuberates joy and living each moment to its fullest. Katie is often described as effervescent, with a bubbly contagious presence.
Growing up on the north coast of NSW Australia, in the little seaside town Mullaway has given her a great appreciation for nature and beauty.
She is a mermaid at heart loving everything the ocean offers. She will often be found splashing around in the surf or dancing on the sand.
Katie has grown up with a longing to be part of everything beautiful life has to offer. These days her time is spent on her favourite passions, Surfing, photography, dance and family.
Katie was the school captain of Mullaway primary school in 2004, and is School Captain of Woolgoolga High School for 2010.
The last three years for Katie have been jam-packed with courses, workshops and seminars in relation to personal development.
Katie was chosen to go to America in the past 3 years taking part in the world-wide youth leadership Camp “Global youth leadership summit” with Tony Robbins. Last year she was invited back to America as part of the support team and was voted “champion Youth leader” and once again was invited back to support as a Youth Leader (being 1 of 12 chosen from around the world). She has been part of the assisting team for "Empower You" (an organization for empowering youth, run by Dale Beaumont and Brent Williams) and a Certified NLP Results and Master Practitioner And spent 2 years completing the “Journey Practitioner Program” with Brandon Bays.
Last year Katie received the Zonta -"Young women in Public Affairs Award"
Katie (soon to be published Author) is currently writing her first book- A parenting book from the perspective of the teenager.
Katie values family, love, passion, freedom, truth, individuality, creativity and her life purpose.
Katie's mission is to use the skills she's learnt to empower and support girls to find self confidence, love and respect so that they know who they are and live their lives to their fullest potential and share their true self with the world
Katie says; “I want to SHARE WHAT IV'E LEARNT to SUPPORT AND MENTOR OTHER YOUNG GIRLS because I would not be the person I am today without the support I've had along the way.” |
